some administrator like to change this message and write his phone or Project name or anything else, also for security reasons you must change it because the AIX version (AIX 6.1) wrote on this welcome message.
this welcome message stored on the follwoing file :
"/etc/motd"
you can open it using “vi” editor and write anything you want.
