if you have more than one node and they are connected together through POWERHA (HACMP), ofcourse you need an easy way to make normal users change thier password and automaticlly updated on the other node.
in this case you have 2 ways.
first one to use ‘rdist’ script and i don’t recommend that.
the second & powerful one to use link option on HACMP, do the following steps for that link:
smit hacmp ->System Management (C-SPOC) -> Security and Users -> Passwords in an HACMP cluster -> Modify System Password Utility Choose "Link to Cluster Password Utility" Many Thanks for Eng. Ahmed Amer Owner of unixhood.com
